In an intriguing question posed by a key figure in the Dogecoin community, Dogecoin co-creator Billy Markus, also known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, revealed that selling his DOGE in 2015 was his biggest regret. Markus decided to step back from Dogecoin due to changes in the community and financial concerns, selling off all his crypto assets including Dogecoin. The funds he received were just enough to buy a used Honda Civic. Although Markus is no longer involved in any cryptocurrency projects, he remains influential with over two million followers on X. Currently, the price of DOGE is significantly higher than in 2015, but 87.28% lower than its highest point in 2021, highlighting the unpredictability of buying and selling coins.
