Crypto Payment Service Transak Moves to Hawaii

Web3 payments provider Transak has opened a new office in Hawaii to take advantage of the state's cryptocurrency-friendly regulations. Following the conclusion of the Digital Currency Innovation Lab study in June 2024, Hawaii no longer requires cryptocurrency businesses to obtain a money transmitter license, aiming to foster innovation and growth in the crypto sector. Transak, registered under FinCEN, ensures compliance with AML and KYC standards and offers an easy onboarding process for Hawaii residents to access hundreds of cryptocurrencies. Key partners such as BitPay, MetaMask, Changelly, and Trust Wallet are now live in Hawaii, tapping into the state's high potential for cryptocurrency interest.
