Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has addressed concerns about the pace of governance actions in a tweet to the ADA community. He emphasized that the governance workstream, which led to the development of CIP-1694 and the candidate constitution, was initiated during the Age of Voltaire conference in late 2022. Hoskinson's reminder aims to assure the community that the governance process has been thorough and inclusive, involving two years of discussion, design, debate, and community involvement. The recent milestone of submitting the governance action for the Cardano mainnet hard fork on-chain signifies the end of the technical bootstrapping phase and paves the way for full governance as outlined in CIP-1694.
