Binance Does Not Comply With All Israeli Military Requests, Firm’s Financial Crime Chief Says

Binance's head of financial crime investigations, Nils Anderson Röed, stated that the company does not blindly comply with requests from the Israeli military to freeze crypto wallets belonging to Palestinians. Röed explained that Binance's team runs independent open-source intelligence research to cross-check claims made by governments like Israel regarding illicit activity. They consult with lawyers and law enforcement bodies to ensure compliance with international law and protect users' rights. As a result, Binance rejected 86% of wallet seizure requests from Israel. The company has allocated additional resources to ensure thorough investigations in sensitive regions.
