Experienced cryptocurrency analyst il Capo of Crypto has issued a warning about the upcoming delisting of Tether (USDT), which will impact several cryptocurrency exchanges in the European Union. Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken will delist USDT, EURT, PYUSD, UST, and TUSD stablecoins in accordance with MiCA rules. Users in the European Economic Area will no longer be able to buy or sell these assets on the exchange. Il Capo suggests that pressure on stablecoins may increase globally in 2025, potentially leading to more difficulties for USDT. The analyst believes that USDC is relatively safer but advises against holding any stablecoins this year. Additionally, the analyst names NEAR, DOGE, and ALGO as altcoins with bullish charts in the short term.
