Sony & Theta Ready to Release ‘3D NFTs’ With Spatial Reality Display!

It has been revealed that a display unit with a high-speed vision sensor will be designed according to the eye positions of the new 3D NFTs that will be formed in this regard. It is also stated that this device cannot be used with eyeglasses or other accessories.

This device debuted in 2020. Many people have owned this device, which appeals to a wide audience and sells at high prices. It was also sold for $5,000. Network operator Theta stated that the NFTs that will take part in this project will be in a form that will represent any digital item, avatar, and collection in the world. There is also a scenario where these simulated glasses can be visualized and viewed by accessing the glasses-free 3D mixed reality form.

According to the South Korean company, with the upcoming project, the metaverse will become a new reality and a physical entity. The project will have NFT to be “Theta powered”.

Sony has stated that the NFT project is the last way it can showcase, as it thinks meta-friendly technology can enable it to spread more quickly. Sony’s music and entertainment branches had also played an active role in NFT in previous years.
