Verge (XVG)
Candlefocus EditorThe network of Verge uses multi-algorithm consensus to ensure the security of its blockchain. more precisely, the project enlists five miners to keep the blockchain secure: Scrypt, X17, Lyra2rev2, myr-groestl, and blake2s. This setup allows users to engage in mining with easier or simpler hardware such as CPUs and GPUs. The multi-algorithm setup also increases the decentralization of the blockchain, achieving a more equitable mining.
The most appealing feature of the project is its privacy-focused effort. The network implements a variant of TOR (The Onion Router), with which it cloaks the IP address and the location of its users. Verge offers four different privacy-oriented transactions: Wraith Protocol, Simple Payment Verification (SPV), Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme (ECIES), and I2P (Invisible Internet Project). These four layers protect user’s identity from being revealed to third-parties.
Verge has also implemented various features such as RSK support, atomic swaps, and rootstock integration. Forks and updates like these make sure that the project is technologically advanced and more competitive among the other project.
To conclude, Verge (XVG) is a pioneer in the area of anonymous cryptocurrencies. The project is constantly developing and adding new features to its platform to ensure it remains at the forefront of anonymity-oriented investments.
