National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER)

The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) is an independent and non-profit economic research organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1920, the NBER is committed to promoting the research of economic behavior, measurement, and analysis and the application of economics to public policy. With more than 1,000 dually-appointed University and independent researchers, the NBER has become the most recognized source for research in the U.S.

Since its inception, the NBER has achieved a number of impressive milestones.
