A user on the prediction market Polymarket has sold nearly $4 million in bets related to Donald Trump's victory in the Nov. 5 elections. The user, known as "larpas," had accumulated over $15.3 million in trading volume across 24 different markets. The selling of positions led to a decrease in Trump's odds on the platform, but they have since recovered. The selling began shortly after a trader advised users to exit election-related polls, citing the close 2000 US presidential election as a cautionary tale. While Trump's odds have fallen in some venues, he still maintains a lead in the majority of predictions.
