Guggenheim Treasury Services, a subsidiary of Guggenheim Partners, has partnered with blockchain platform Zeconomy to issue $20 million of tokenized commercial paper on the Ethereum blockchain. The move reflects the growing interest in tokenizing traditional financial instruments and meets the increasing demand for digital assets. The commercial paper was rated P-1, the highest credit rating available for such instruments, by Moody's Investors Service. This marks a new direction for Guggenheim, which has previously participated in the cryptocurrency ecosystem through its Macro Opportunities Funds.
