Kash Patel has been confirmed as the director of the FBI, despite opposition from Senate Democrats and some Republicans. Patel is known for his support of former President Donald Trump. In his financial disclosure, Patel revealed holdings in a Bitcoin ETF and a Bitcoin mining company, in addition to millions in stock holdings and income from media and publishing ventures. The FBI already holds a significant amount of Bitcoin, primarily obtained through criminal seizures. Patel has agreed to step down from some positions but will maintain inactive consulting businesses connected to Trump allies.
