The World Liberty Financial (WLFI) project has announced Sandy Peng, co-founder of Scroll, as their new advisor. WLFI is a decentralized application protocol supported by former US president Donald Trump's family. Peng has previous experience as a partner at Fission Capital and as a management associate at the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). Peng is the latest addition to the list of advisors announced by WLFI since August 30. The project is set to launch on September 16 with the involvement of Trump's sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. However, details about the project remain scarce. The WLFI team has stated that they are working with crypto security firms and collaborating with money market Aave to create a platform that advances the DeFi sector. Their mission is to promote the adoption of stablecoins and DeFi to maintain US dominance in global finance.
