The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has recently approved Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs). As a result, issuers have submitted applications for ETFs related to other cryptocurrencies such as Solana, XRP, and Litecoin. However, two expert ETF analysts believe that these applications are unlikely to be approved under the presidency of Kamala Harris. They suggest that if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election, the chances of approval for XRP and Solana ETFs could significantly increase. On the other hand, if Harris wins, the chances for approval of these ETF applications are slim. The analysts believe that Trump is the only chance for the approval of altcoin ETFs, particularly if reputable names like BlackRock, Bitwise, and VanEck also apply. The analysts' view aligns with the current betting market data, which predicts a higher chance of Trump winning the election. However, it's important to note that this information does not constitute investment advice.
