Norwegian luxury cruise operator SeaDream Yacht Club has announced that it is now accepting over 200 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, as payment for voyages and full-yacht charters. The company has partnered with Coinbase Commerce to handle cryptocurrency payments, and has also deployed a digital payment solution on its website. SeaDream Yacht Club claims to be the first cruise operator to offer cryptocurrency as a payment option for its voyages. This move follows a trend in the travel industry of adopting digital payment options to attract tech-savvy customers and streamline international transactions.
