U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs are nearing a major milestone as they are expected to hold over one million BTC by next Wednesday. This would surpass Satoshi Nakamoto's alleged 1.1 million BTC holding. ETF issuers have been adding around 17,000 BTC per week to their holdings. Currently, BlackRock and Grayscale are the biggest contributors to these ETFs, accounting for 41.5% and 25.9% of total BTC holdings, respectively. While Satoshis Nakamoto is still the top holder with 1.1 million BTC, the ETFs are now among the top holders globally. Other entities like MicroStrategy and the U.S. government may also challenge Nakamoto's BTC holdings in the future.
