South Korean tech giant Samsung is expanding its use of blockchain technology to enhance security in its AI home appliances. The company plans to use its existing Knox Matrix framework in a broader range of home appliances, creating a "Trust Chain" that allows devices to monitor each other for security threats. Samsung also aims to enhance security across devices with its "Cross Platform" technology and encrypt and synchronize user data with "Credential Sync." These features will be rolled out to key products next year, and biometric authentication will also be integrated. Samsung has previously utilized blockchain in its smartphones and developed a blockchain wallet and keystore.
