Major investors including Fulgur Ventures and Tether have supported the company's goal of solving Bitcoin's scalability issues and expanding its use in areas with limited financial services. JAN3's AQUA Wallet enables users to hold Bitcoin and Tether on Layer 2 solutions, making transactions faster and cheaper. The company also plans to add credit card payments, loans, and local buying and selling options for Bitcoin. JAN3 is collaborating with the government of El Salvador to enhance the country's digital systems and create Bitcoin City. The company's efforts reflect the increasing demand for practical uses of Bitcoin and the potential role of Layer 2 technologies in overcoming adoption challenges.
