Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and co-founder Chris Larsen will be speaking at the eighth annual fintech conference hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on October 22 and 23. The conference will cover topics such as tokenized deposits, tokenization of real-world assets, and the impact of fintech on the financial landscape. The event aims to discuss the future of the fintech industry and is organized by representatives from institutions such as the Wharton School, the University of Cambridge, and the Brookings Institution. Larsen's appearance is notable as he rarely attends such events. Other notable speakers include representatives from Coinbase, the Crypto Council for Innovation, Plaid, and the Financial Technology Association. Ripple will also host its own Swell conference in Miami on October 15 and 16. However, the company is potentially facing an SEC appeal, with a decision deadline set for October 6.
