Ripple President Monica Long predicts that some of the world's largest banks will launch market-ready tokenized asset offerings in the U.S. this year. This prediction follows discussions that Donald Trump's transition team, along with the newly appointed White House AI & Crypto Czar, David O. Sacks, are working with crypto stakeholders to develop a legislative plan for the industry. Long believes that the engagement of large banks with cryptocurrencies through custody services will have a significant impact on the market. She revealed that 15 of the world's 25 largest banks have already piloted tokenized projects, indicating a strong interest in tokenization. However, Long emphasizes that this will only happen if the U.S. government provides regulatory clarity. Ripple aims to be a major player in the tokenization sector, particularly in the real estate industry, which is projected to reach a valuation of $16 trillion by 2030.
