San Francisco-based enterprise blockchain company Ripple has partnered with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), a humanitarian organization. Ripple will contribute $1 million to explore how its products, including its RUSD stablecoin, can improve fund transfers and cash relief. The IRC is open to accepting a variety of cryptocurrencies, including meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. Ripple has a history of charitable donations, having already given $170 million since 2018. The company recently donated $250,000 towards hurricane recovery efforts.
