Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) plans to introduce a trial for digital asset custody services, allowing three major banks to protect cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin. The move aims to encourage financial innovation and establish Taiwan as a major player in the crypto market in Asia. Ripple, which already has a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license in Singapore, is expected to benefit from Taiwan's entry into the crypto custody service market, as it can leverage its regulatory footprint in the region. This development aligns with Ripple's goal of providing quick cross-border payment solutions. The XRP price is currently at $0.5474, showing a slight increase over the last 24 hours.
