Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated in a recent podcast appearance that an initial public offering (IPO) is not a high priority for Ripple due to its legal battle with the SEC. The company is in a strong financial position and has been acquiring and investing in various projects in the crypto industry. While an IPO is currently a backburner topic, Ripple is not ruling it out completely and wants to ensure shareholder liquidity and appropriate valuation. Speculation about Ripple going public has been ongoing, and Garlinghouse previously mentioned exploring an IPO after the SEC lawsuit concludes. The SEC recently filed an appeal, potentially prolonging the legal battle until early 2026. However, Garlinghouse remains confident that Ripple will become a public company in the future.
