Ripple has extended its partnership with UK custodian Archax to bring tokenized real-world assets (RWA) to the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The move aims to establish XRPL as a leading blockchain for RWA. Archax had already partnered with Metaco in 2022 to offer digital asset custody services. Both companies are focused on compliance and work with policymakers and regulators. Archax CEO Graham Rodford commented that the partnership allows the company to adopt the technology and bring its assets to XRPL. The XRPL has a strong foundation in RWA tokenization and has processed over 2.8 billion transactions with support from over 120 validators. Markus Infanger, SVP of RippleX, believes the collaboration will support Archax in driving blockchain adoption among financial institutions. Archax recently acquired Spanish broker King & Shaxson Capital Markets as part of its European expansion efforts.
