Riot Platforms, a Bitcoin mining company, saw a 28% increase in Bitcoin mining production in September. This was due to higher operating capacity and improved efficiency at their mining facilities in Texas and Kentucky. The company now holds 10,427 Bitcoin. Riot also participated in a program to reduce strain on the grid and lower power costs. In addition to their mining operations, Riot made a takeover bid for Bitfarms but was rejected. They eventually reached a settlement where Riot gained further rights to acquire Bitfarms shares.
