The Qatar Financial Center (QFC) has launched its Digital Assets Lab, which aims to develop innovative digital solutions using distributed ledger technology (DLT). The lab has selected 24 participants, including industry heavyweights like ALT Realtech, Bladelabs, Polygon, and Partior, who will receive support to develop, test, and commercialize their digital solutions. The QFC has partnered with organizations such as Google Cloud, Masraf Al Rayan, The Hashgraph Association, and R3 to bolster the lab's capabilities. The lab will focus on use cases like trade finance, real-world asset tokenization, and carbon credit tokenization.
