Asset manager ProShares has submitted filings for new XRP ETF products, including leveraged, inverse, and futures ETFs, as the crypto community anticipates regulatory shifts. This comes as Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chair Gary Gensler is set to resign, potentially signaling a more favorable regulatory environment under the incoming administration. Other firms, including VanEck, Canary Capital, Oasis Capital, CoinShares, and ProShares, have also filed for various crypto-related ETFs. These filings coincide with Gensler's departure and the expectation of a new SEC Chair with a pro-crypto stance. However, the SEC has not approved any spot XRP ETFs so far.
