Parisian department store chain Printemps has partnered with Binance and fintech company Lyzi to become the first department store network in France to accept cryptocurrency payments. The collaboration allows over 6.5 million French cryptocurrency users to make purchases using Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other popular digital assets at any of Printemps' 20 stores. Customers can scan a QR code, select their preferred cryptocurrency, and confirm the transaction through the Binance app, with the system automatically converting the cryptocurrency into euros for a smooth checkout experience. Binance Pay, integrated by Lyzi, allows users to pay without fees at over 100,000 retail locations worldwide. This partnership represents the convergence of traditional retail and digital finance, offering consumers an innovative and seamless shopping experience.
