Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has added three new tokens, PENGU, SIGMA, and ME, to its list of tradable assets. The PENGU token has surged in value due to the introduction of the Abstract mainnet by Igloo Inc., the parent company behind the PENGU project and the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection. Speculation suggests that PENGU holders may receive native tokens as an airdrop from the Abstract network. The SIGMA token, on the other hand, has experienced a drop in value but still maintains high trading volume. Magic Eden, a leading NFT marketplace, continues to dominate the market with a trade volume of $123 million. Kraken's addition of the new tokens demonstrates its commitment to expanding tradable asset options. Additionally, Kraken plans to launch its own blockchain called Ink in the first quarter of 2025, which aims to support decentralized finance applications.
