Pakistani crypto trader Mohammed Arsalan has been released after paying a ransom of $340,000 worth of digital assets to his captors. Seven suspects linked to the crime have been apprehended, including a policeman. Arsalan was kidnapped on December 25 and forced to transfer the ransom through his Binance account. After his release, he filed a police report and an investigation was launched. The Inspector General of Police has stated that those involved, including the policeman, will face the full weight of the law and will be dismissed from the force.
