Ondo Finance (ONDO) has emerged as a leader in the transaction volume of the Real-World Asset (RWA) sector, surpassing other RWA tokens in recent months. The token experienced a surge in transaction volume starting in late 2024 and reached its peak in January 2025, surpassing 400 million. Although the volume has since dropped to under 300 million, it still outperforms other RWA tokens. Ondo Finance also announced a significant upgrade to its Ondo Global Markets platform, allowing for the tokenization of U.S. securities such as stocks, bonds, and ETFs. The token holds a considerable share in the $3.5 billion tokenized US Treasury bond market, and the overall tokenized real-world asset market has seen steady growth, valued at over $17 billion.
