NYSE Arca has filed a form with the SEC to seek approval for listing and trading shares of Grayscale's Dogecoin ETF. The proposed ETF would allow investors to gain exposure to Dogecoin without owning it directly. Coinbase Custody Trust Company and BNY Mellon would serve as custodian and handle administration and transfer agent duties, respectively. The SEC has 45 days to review the filing and make a decision, which can be extended to 90 days if necessary. Grayscale has been expanding its ETF initiatives, including applying to convert its XRP Trust into an ETF and pursuing ETFs tied to altcoins like Litecoin and Solana.
