Mythical Games has launched a Super Bowl promotion for its NFT-infused mobile game NFL Rivals. The promotion includes new player cards from the top teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, which players can earn through packs or campaigns. Users can also earn rewards by participating in Hero Events and playing live events tied to the real Super Bowl game. The game operates similarly to EA Sports' Ultimate Team mode and limited edition cards are minted as NFTs on the Mythos blockchain. NFL Rivals has been downloaded over 6 million times and has generated more than $200,000 in revenue in the last month. Mythical Games has raised $297 million in funding since 2018 and is working on other gaming projects.
