A wallet associated with the defunct crypto exchange Mt. Gox has transferred 27,871 Bitcoin, worth $2.8 billion, with the majority sent to an unidentified address. The exchange still holds around 39,878 Bitcoin valued at $4.1 billion. This transfer follows a previous movement of 2,500 Bitcoin in November. Mt. Gox has extended its payout timeline for former users' compensation claims and concerns remain about the potential impact on Bitcoin's market price if creditors decide to sell their holdings. Despite these transfers, Bitcoin's price has not been significantly affected and was trading at around $103,000 at the time of the report.
