The Minister of Justice in Montenegro, Bojan Božović, has approved the extradition of Do Kwon, the founder of Terraform Labs, to the United States. Kwon is wanted by both the US and South Korean authorities in connection with the Terra-Luna fiasco, which caused numerous crypto businesses to fail. Kwon had fled and was found hiding in Serbia and Montenegro before being arrested. After spending four months in jail while extradition rights were disputed, the Montenegrin Constitutional Court dismissed Kwon's latest appeal, paving the way for his extradition. It is unclear if Kwon's lawyer will contest the order. The maximum penalty in South Korea for Kwon if found guilty is a 40-year sentence.
