MicroStrategy, an enterprise software company, holds 2.1% of the total Bitcoin supply, with a recent $101 million investment continuing its pattern of strategic acquisitions. On-chain analytics platform IntoTheBlock highlighted this trend, pointing out that MicroStrategy's Bitcoin purchases have slowed since late December. In 2024, the company purchased 258,320 BTC, and as of January 5, 2025, it holds 447,470 BTC. The recent $101 million buy is seen as part of MicroStrategy's ongoing strategy to increase its Bitcoin holdings. Despite smaller recent purchases, MicroStrategy remains ahead of its capital goals and continues to invest in Bitcoin.
