The U.S. government has transferred 54 billion shiba inu (SHIB), a popular meme coin, valued at $1.56 million, to a consolidated Ethereum wallet. This wallet also contains 4,815 ether (ETH) valued at $17.43 million and $13.10 million in binance USD (BUSD). The wallet is believed to be managed by the U.S. Department of Justice and the recent SHIB addition ranks as the third most valuable holding. This move follows the recent transfer of nearly 20,000 bitcoin (BTC) to Coinbase by the U.S. government, sparking debate within the crypto community. Currently, the government still holds 198,109 BTC, valued at $18.92 billion, along with other cryptocurrencies.
