Mawari, a leader in spatial computing and decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN), has teamed up with Nankai Electric Railway, Meta Osaka, and e-stadium to create "Digital Entertainment City Namba" in Osaka, Japan. This development project aims to be the world's first fully integrated ecosystem combining artificial intelligence (AI), extended reality (XR), and DePIN technologies at a city-wide scale. Mawari will deploy edge computing and rendering devices across Nankai's properties to deliver decentralized streaming infrastructure, enabling real-time interactions with lifelike AI-driven avatars. The project will transform Nankai's railway stations and properties into vibrant digital hubs that seamlessly merge virtual and physical experiences. It also aims to boost tourism and address Japan's labor shortage by providing flexible, remote work opportunities through AI-driven avatars.
