The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has announced a new amendment called fixAMMv1_1, which is set to go live later this month. This amendment aims to improve or introduce new features and requires consensus from validators. Currently, 82.86% of the consensus has voted yes to the amendment. If sustained for two weeks, the amendment will become active and implement changes to the Automated Market Maker (AMM) feature, allowing for decentralized trading on XRPL. This is expected to enhance liquidity and efficiency for traders. The approval support threshold stands at 80%. XRP has seen a 1.48% increase in price, indicating bullish sentiment among community members.
