The Jiangsu Provincial High People's Court in China released information about a case involving a cryptocurrency contract dispute between a Singaporean investor and a Chinese citizen. The investor had contributed 15.74M yuan to a project called "MFA Blockchain" but decided to pull out when his capital was not returned. The court ruled the contract invalid due to cryptocurrencies being against Chinese law, leaving the investor responsible for the loss of his capital. This case serves as a warning to foreign investors collaborating with Chinese partners, as Chinese courts may invalidate contracts that violate domestic regulations.
