The Magic Eden Foundation has provided an update on the launch of its Magic Eden token (ME). While no specific date has been given for the token's launch, the foundation plans to conduct a token claim simulation in October. The simulation will be available through the Magic Eden Wallet, allowing users to connect and view their total ME claim across different wallets. However, it should be noted that the test token used in the simulation will have no utility or value. After the simulation, the ME Foundation will unveil the project's tokenomics and announce the token generation event. The ME token is expected to play a central role in Magic Eden's decentralized autonomous organization and offer benefits such as access to cross-chain trading. Magic Eden currently holds a significant market share in the NFT marketplace, surpassing competitors Blur and OpenSea.
