The price of Shiba Inu (SHIB) has dropped by 3.87% in 24 hours, with its value decreasing by 18.38% over the past week. However, large SHIB holders, particularly whales with 10 trillion to 100 trillion tokens, continue to accumulate more tokens, adding 6.33 trillion SHIB in 2025, with 840 billion tokens acquired in February alone. On the other hand, mid-tier holders have reduced their stakes, selling off 3.16 trillion tokens for holders with 100 billion to 1 trillion SHIB and 2.05 trillion tokens for holders with 1 trillion to 10 trillion SHIB. In terms of token concentration, concerns have been raised as the top 10 largest SHIB wallets hold 61.3% of the total supply. However, a comparison with other major cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, Chainlink, and Toncoin shows that SHIB's concentration level is not as high. Lower concentration levels in cryptocurrency distributions are generally seen as contributing to price stability and investor confidence.
