Italian parliament member Marcello Coppo has suggested that banking foundations in Italy should invest in Bitcoin, seeing it as an opportunity for significant returns. Coppo believes that these investments could create public support for Bitcoin, which has faced skepticism in Italy. However, he does not believe that Italy's Treasury will embrace Bitcoin in the near future, despite other countries, like the US, making progress in establishing strategic Bitcoin reserves. This suggestion comes after Italy's largest bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, purchased $1 million worth of Bitcoin.
