Investment advisers are predicted to surpass hedge funds as the largest holders of U.S.-listed spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in 2025, according to CF Benchmarks. Currently, hedge fund managers own 45.3% of the ETFs, while investment advisers hold 28%. However, the report suggests that investment advisers' share will rise to over 50% in both bitcoin and ether ETF markets. CF Benchmarks believes that the increasing demand for digital assets, growing client understanding, and product maturation will reshape the ownership mix. In the ether ETF market, investment advisers are already in the lead and are expected to extend their dominance next year.
