Crypto exchange Gemini has announced the appointment of a new senior management team in Europe as it plans to expand its presence in the region in 2025. Mark Jennings has been hired as the head of Europe, while Daniel Slutzkin has been appointed as the head of the U.K. Vijay Selvam has taken on the role of international general counsel and will lead Gemini's licensing and regulatory strategy in Europe and the U.K. The European Union has set a deadline of December 30 for member states to implement new rules governing companies providing crypto services in the region, known as MiCA.
