Franklin Templeton's Roger Bayston believes that diversification will be the key word for crypto investing in 2025. The asset management firm recently launched bitcoin and ether ETFs, and the SEC approved 19b-4s for crypto index funds. Bayston expects ETF legal staffs to be busy in the coming year and believes that blockchain's utility, whether through bitcoin or other coins, will continue to expand. Franklin Templeton's research team continues to evaluate crypto assets, and the firm is looking to expand its offerings in the tokenized money funds space, including globally.
