El Salvador and Paraguay have signed a regulatory agreement on the topic of cryptocurrencies. The agreement, signed between Paraguay's SEPRELAD and El Salvador's CNAD, aims to facilitate cooperation in the crypto sector and strengthen anti-money laundering practices. While El Salvador has established an advanced regulatory framework for digital assets, Paraguay has cautioned its citizens against interacting with unauthorized or unregulated crypto entities. This agreement follows a previous regulatory agreement between El Salvador and Argentina's CNV.
