El Salvador's government currently holds 5,995 BTC acquired at an average price of $45,297 per coin, with their holdings now worth over $613 million. President Bukele celebrated the achievement on social media, with Elon Musk praising the investment. This success has inspired other nations, including Bhutan, which also holds significant BTC reserves. Bhutan's government currently possesses 12,211 BTC valued at $1.25 billion.
