The cryptocurrency market continues to struggle after experiencing sharp declines earlier in the week. Bitcoin is hovering below $100,000, and most altcoins are struggling to hold onto recent gains. However, Litecoin (LTC) and FTX Token (FTT) have emerged as top gainers on February 6, 2025. Bitcoin has shown some resilience, bouncing back from lows of $96,174 to trade above $98,700. However, it is still unable to break the psychological $100,000 level. Bitcoin's volatility profile is changing, with its realized volatility dropping to 50% over a three-month rolling window, compared to previous bull markets where it exceeded 80%. Despite Bitcoin's outlook, BTC Dominance has risen 6% since the end of 2024. Ethereum has experienced a dip in price, reaching lows of $2,100, but is currently trading at $2,850. Most altcoins have not experienced upward momentum, with Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), and BNB (BNB) trading near key support levels. However, Litecoin and FTX Token have seen gains, with LTC rising above $109 and FTT surging nearly 8%. Other top gainers among the largest cryptocurrencies by market cap include Sonic (S), Official Trump (TRUMP), and Lido DAO (LDO).
