Crypto firms are making a big entrance into the Premier League, as they aim to replace traditional gambling brands on teams' shirts. The money spent on sponsorship deals has reached an all-time high of $170 million for this season. This surge in crypto sponsorships is attributed to a collective agreement to ban gambling sponsorships from teams' shirts by the 2025/2026 season. Some crypto exchanges, such as Kraken and Okx, have already partnered with Premier League teams, and Crypto.com has become the crypto sponsor of the UEFA Champions League. Analysts predict more deals to be announced in the future.
