Crypto fund issuers are filing for various types of ETFs that they hope to launch in 2025. Bitwise has filed for a Bitcoin Standard Corporations ETF that would invest in companies with at least 1,000 BTC. Strive Asset Management has filed for a Bitcoin Bond ETF that would invest in convertible securities issued by companies like MicroStrategy. REX Advisers plans to launch a Bitcoin Corporate Treasury Convertible Bond ETF that invests in convertible bonds issued by companies holding the largest cryptocurrency assets. ProShares is plotting three bitcoin-related funds, including an S&P 500 Bitcoin ETF and two products that aim to replicate the performance of bitcoin-denominated investments in Nasdaq 100 stocks and gold. Volatility Shares has filed for an ETF that would invest in Solana futures contracts, although these contracts do not yet exist. Multiple firms have active filings for spot Solana ETFs, but it remains uncertain whether the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will approve them without a regulated futures market.
